A case study of a convicted paedophile and the relationship between his 'thinking and doing' is presented to reveal how his fantasy life, his use of the Internet and his contact offences against children are linked. More broadly, the authors propose a generic 'offending space model' to chart how, and in what circumstances fantasy becomes reality.
